Transfer College Credit
Undergraduate students wishing to transfer a course(s) from another institution should secure in advance the approval of the Registrar's Office. Credits from regionally-accredited institutions, with grades of "C-" or above, may transfer to Nebraska Wesleyan.
Transfer course equivalencies from local colleges may be found on WebAdvisor (may use Guests menu).
Advanced Placement (AP)
Students may earn college credit for satisfactory performance on AP tests. Refer to WebAdvisor (may use Guests menu) for the list of required AP test scores to earn NWU course credits.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Students who have participated in an International Baccalaureate program may earn up to 32 college credits at Nebraska Wesleyan. Credit is granted for those who receive an IB diploma with a score of 30 or higher and have no score less than four in any one of the six examination groups, or for those who have achieved a score of five to seven in individual IB courses taken at the Higher Level (HL).
College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Students may earn college credit for satisfactory performance on CLEP tests. Refer to WebAdvisor (may use Guests menu) for the list of required CLEP test scores to earn NWU course credits.
