Change is one of the few constants in life. Like a tree, we are shaped by what surrounds us, while our roots give us the strength to grow in new directions. “Rooted in Change” explores the connection between where we come from and who we become. On Earth Day, this theme invites us to look beyond environmental change and consider the changes happening within ourselves and our communities. We experience physical changes as we grow, mental and emotional changes as we learn from challenges, and social changes as our relationships, perspectives, and identities evolve. Yet through every transition, something grounds us. TEDx at Nebraska Wesleyan University will bring together voices that challenge us to consider how our roots shape our growth, how change transforms us, and how embracing change can create meaningful possibilities for the future.

What Makes a TEDx Talk?
TEDx talks are 8-12 minutes, focused, and idea driven. They're not motivational speeches or product pitches—they’re authentic, thought-provoking conversations that stick with you.
