Education Professor Named "Exemplary Teacher"

A Nebraska Wesleyan University education professor has been awarded the “Exemplary Teaching Award.”

Jennifer Lorenzen, assistant professor of education, was recognized November 8 with the award, which is presented annually by the Division of Higher Education of the Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church.

Grant Provides Extended Hours, Staffing at Cooper Center

Nebraska Wesleyan University's Cooper Center for Academic Achievement has received a $51,600 grant that will provide for extended hours, additional staffing, and new instruction.

The Cooper Center Foundation of Lincoln honored former trustee and Nebraska Wesleyan University president John W. White with a grant in his memory. White died on April 18.
