Dr. Fred Ohles, president of Nebraska Wesleyan University, awarded degrees to nearly 450 undergraduate and graduate students during Nebraska Wesleyan University’s 122nd annual commencement held Saturday, May 14.

Scott Young, executive director of the Food Bank of Lincoln, gave the commencement address. He was also presented an honorary degree.

Four students were awarded the Gold Key Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average during their college career. Those students are Ana Burgers of Winslow, Sheryl Graeve of Omaha, Mishayla Richardson of Broken Bow and Karri Shiers of Lincoln. Three students received the Silver Key Award for maintaining a 3.99 grade point average during their college careers. The Silver Key honorees are Staci Butcher of Fairbury, Whitney Fuller of Lincoln, and Katlyn Paloucek of North Platte.
