Biology Students Earn Top Honors at Undergraduate Research Conference

Eight Nebraska Wesleyan University biology students have returned from the West Coast Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference where two NWU students received top honors.

Alex Vogel of Omaha won "best presentation" on the topic of immunology and Lindsey Jones of Lincoln won "best presentation" for her talk on genetics and microbiology.

All eight students gave oral presentations at the conference, held at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. Thirty-five colleges and universities attended the conference.
