Nebraska Wesleyan University welcomes its students back for the spring semester with "Welcome Back Comedy Night." The evening will feature comedian Tig Notaro.
Welcome Back Comedy Night will be Friday, January 20 at 9 p.m. in O'Donnell Auditorium. The event is free for NWU students.
General admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door.
This fall, Droogsma taught a liberal arts seminar for first-year students called “Better Together.” The seminar focused on interfaith communication using the Interfaith Youth Core model.
Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore Gabe Taylor fondly remembers the University Choir’s international tour to Estonia last summer. He enjoyed the country so much that he called his mom from Estonia saying he didn’t want to come home.
Thanks to a Gilman International Scholarship, Taylor will return to Estonia for his spring semester.
Nebraska Wesleyan University now leads all NAIA schools in Academic All-Americans thanks to seven recent honors. On December 5, seven NWU football players were added to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America College Division Football Team.
