Employment Opportunity for the Position of Adjunct Faculty Position for Business Administration
Nebraska Wesleyan University, located in Lincoln, NE, invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in Business Administration for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants may be considered for BUSAD 2000, BUSAD 5110, or both courses, provided they meet the qualifications for each position.
BUSAD 2000 Principles of Marketing (two sections; undergraduate course) (3 credits): Students examine the role of marketing in society with an introduction to the fundamentals of strategic marketing planning and the development of the marketing mix. Topics include buyer behavior, market segmentation, distribution, pricing policies, communication strategies, and product development.
The successful candidate will be offered up to two sections from the following list:
Section 001: Full Semester: August 24, 2026 – December 19, 2026
Mon, Wed, and Fri. 10:00-10:50am
Format: in-person class
Section 002: Full Semester: August 24, 2026 – December 19, 2026
Mon, Wed, and Fri. 11:00-11:50am
Format: in-person class
Qualifications:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Familiarity with Canvas course technology or another learning management system (LMS) is preferred
- Strong commitment to student-centered instruction
BUSAD 5110/5110x Brand and Marketing Management (one section; graduate course) (3 credits): This course integrates the major elements of the marketing process, strategic planning, and the development of an effective marketing mix, to create customer value. Students will learn to analyze key marketing concepts, such as consumer/buyer behavior, market research, brand management for individuals and organizations, product development, pricing strategies, and the design of marketing channels. This course examines the integration of marketing with other functions in the business environment.

Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree preferred in Business Administration or a related field
- Familiarity with Canvas course technology or another learning management system (LMS) is preferred
