Founded on April 24, 1896, the Woman's Wesleyan Educational Council (WWEC) has 21 charter members and is a statewide organization composed of local chapters, members at large, and Nebraska Wesleyan representatives. Its purpose is to interest women of Nebraska and friends of the WWEC in promoting the advancement of Nebraska Wesleyan University and provide scholarships for Nebraska Wesleyan University students.
Membership dues are $15. Please contact Sally Schneider, Board Treasurer, at sally.schneider2 [at] gmail.com for instructions on where to send payment.
Donations to the endowment/scholarship fund of WWEC should be made payable to Nebraska Wesleyan University. On the memo line write: WWEC Endowment Fund. Please mail to NWU Advancement Office, 5000 St. Paul Avenue, Lincoln, NE 68504. The Advancement Office will provide you a donation receipt to use as a deduction on your income taxes.
