Mission of NWU’s Alumni Association Council
The Alumni Association Council fosters lifelong connections between alumni and NWU through meaningful opportunities for volunteering, communication, experiential and philanthropic engagement.
Expectations for Alumni Association Council Members
- Engage with NWU through volunteering, communication, experiential and philanthropic support
- Collaborate with NWU staff to develop and participate in alumni programs
- Communicate NWU's mission, plans, and initiatives within your network
- Champion philanthropic support for NWU personally and by engaging fellow alumni
- Exemplify and uphold NWU's core values in all AAC activities
Time Commitment
- Alumni Association Council: The council will meet as a group two-four times per year for approximately 2 hours. Meetings will be a hybrid of in-person on campus and virtual.
- Special Advisory Teams: As NWU explores new initiatives, certain members may be asked to participate in discussions both in-person and virtually at various times during the year.
