Alumni Association Council

Mission of NWU’s Alumni Association Council:

The Alumni Association Council fosters lifelong connections between alumni and NWU through meaningful opportunities for volunteering, communication, experiential and philanthropic engagement.

Expectations for Alumni Association Council Members:

  • Engage with NWU through volunteering, communication, experiential and philanthropic support
  • Collaborate with NWU staff to develop and participate in alumni programs
  • Communicate NWU's mission, plans, and initiatives within your network
  • Champion philanthropic support for NWU personally and by engaging fellow alumni
  • Exemplify and uphold NWU's core values in all AAC activities

Time Commitment:

  • Alumni Association Council: The council will meet as a group two-four times per year for approximately 2 hours. Meetings will be a hybrid of in-person on campus and virtual.
  • Special Advisory Teams: As NWU explores new initiatives, certain members may be asked to participate in discussions both in-person and virtually at various times during the year.
