Employment Opportunity for the Position of Adjunct Faculty for Anatomy and Physiology
Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill adjunct teaching positions for the upcoming Fall 2026 academic term (Aug. 24th – Dec. 18th, 2026). Applicants will be considered with expertise in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology. The following courses are available:
- BIO-1090 (Intro Human A&P I Lecture) Tuesdays – 9 - 9:50 am and 10 - 10:50 am
- BIO-1090L (Intro Human A&P I Lab) Thursdays – 9 -11:50 am and 1- 3:50 pm
- A master’s or doctoral degree in a Biological Sciences discipline and the ability to teach Anatomy and Physiology laboratory following the course outline developed by the faculty at NWU.
- Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills are required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students is essential
- Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement activities
- Appreciation for a liberal arts tradition is desirable
