During the 2009-2010 fiscal year Nebraska Wesleyan University received over $1,000,000 from corporations, foundations and organizations.

The following is a list of organizations that gave at the Corporate Leadership level ($5,000 or more). If you interact with any of these organizations, please take a moment to thank them for their support of NWU.

Congratulations to Kimberly Van Den Akker (MFS ’10), Maggie Horan, and Lindsay Liddell on their recent hire by the Omaha Police Department Crime Lab. All three are starting this month!

A Nebraska Wesleyan University history professor has been awarded a fellowship from the Office of the State Historian/Historical Society of New Mexico Scholars Program.

Gabrielle Toy was recently hired by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy. She will also be presenting her research project on avian scavenging in Nebraska at the research symposium on Dec. 11 in Callen Conference Center. Congratulations, Deputy toy!

The student organization Colleges Against Cancer will hold a silent auction on Wednesday, December 1.

The annual silent auction is a fundraiser for the organization's Relay For Life event to be held on campus in April.
