Background

Dr. Nicholas Wohlgemuth is a virologist and science educator dedicated to increasing student engagement through active learning and inquiry-based research experiences. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he studied how the influenza A virus uses cellular machinery to replicate. He received additional training in influenza virus pathogenesis at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
