Expenses and Scholarships

The total cost of attendance for the 2019-2020 academic year is approximately $47,651 (US dollars), which includes housing, meals, student health insurance, books and all related fees. Please complete the International Student Post-Admission Enrollment Requirement form (PDF). This form confirms the financial resources necessary to support your NWU education, after subtracting the NWU scholarships from the cost of attendance.

International undergraduate scholarships for
first-time undergraduate students starting fall 2019

Founders $22,000 ACT composite of 32 or more (SAT 1420 or more) and cumulative GPA* of 3.75 or more
Board of Governors $20,000 ACT composite of 29-31 (SAT 1330-1410) and cumulative GPA* of 3.5 or more
Presidents $18,000 ACT composite of 26-28 (SAT 1230-1320) and cumulative GPA* of 3.5 or more
Black & Gold $16,000 ACT composite of 23-25 (SAT 1130-1220) and cumulative GPA* of 3.0 or more
Flagship Match Grant $15,000 All admitted students
