Status

Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill an adjunct teaching position for the upcoming Fall 2024 academic term. Applicants will be considered with expertise in Indigenous History and/or U.S. History.  The candidate would be responsible for in-person instruction of a 4-credit class.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in History, and ability to teach Indigenous History or U.S. History
  • Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills are required 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students is essential
  • Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement activities
  • Appreciation for a liberal arts tradition is desirable
