Commencement for the NWU Class of 2021 will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m. in Abel Stadium. Final Walk will immediately follow the commencement ceremony.
This will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather during the morning of May 8, we will hold the ceremony at 3:30 p.m. the same day. Should inclement weather be forecast for the entire day, we will move the ceremony to Saturday, May 22 at 10 a.m.
This year's commencement speaker is Karen Linder, NWU alumna, executive chairwoman of Tethon 3D, a painter and sculptor with works in more than 50 private collections, and a seminar presenter on entrepreneurship, women's leadership and women in business. Honorary degrees will be presented to Linder and to Coleen Seng, former mayor of Lincoln and NWU alumna.
