Due to inclement weather, NWU will be closed today, January 12. Blowing and drifting snow, additional accumulation and slick road conditions are expected through the morning.

In-person classes are cancelled and will NOT move to a remote modality. All online classes, regardless of program, will take place as scheduled.

Employees are encouraged to work remotely if you have an NWU laptop or home computer. If you have questions, please contact your supervisor directly. Maintenance employees will be contacted by their lead supervisor who will provide work details and shift information.

If you are on campus, please use extreme caution when using the campus sidewalks and parking lots.

Lincoln and Lancaster County is in a winter storm warning until 9 p.m. today

A parking ban remains in effect, which means parking is not allowed on the even-numbered side of the street.  If you haven’t moved your vehicle, please do to allow for LTU to plow streets.
