Background

Rebecca started joined the NWU social work department in the fall of 2018.  She teaches in the undergraduate program and serves as the field director for both the undergraduate and graduate programs. This entails recruiting practicum placements, developing polices related to field practicum education and overall management of field practicum. 

Prior to joining NWU Rebecca’s social work experiences included providing social work services and therapy within an inpatient mental health setting, conducting assessments and discharge planning in a mental health emergency room and serving as director of TRIO programs at Southeast Community College.
