Davianna is a third-year student in the Counseling Psychology doctoral program at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Davianna comes from Los Angeles, California as a first-gen former foster youth. Davianna is passionate in their efforts to support underserved populations within clinical, research and advocacy settings, while continuing their education in cultural humility and multiculturalism to better serve multiple and intersecting identities. Davianna's clinical interests include generational trauma, identity, LGBTQIA+ issues, and the development of underrepresented youth. As a clinician in training, Davianna has gravitated towards utilizing acceptance and committed therapy and feminist therapy. In their free time, Davianna enjoys listening to music, watching shows, creating, and self exploration.
