Bold Designs Campaign Lights Up O'Donnell Auditorium

Liana Sandin (’81) fondly remembers the many hours she spent on the O’Donnell Auditorium stage.

“I was in a lot of things,” Sandin recalled of her involvement in choirs, operas and even serving as an usher at other events hosted in the auditorium. “O’Donnell means performance to me.”

Nursing Students Travel to London to Compare Healthcare Systems

With the current state of our country’s healthcare system and it unknown changes, Nebraska Wesleyan University’s nursing professors looked to valuable teaching opportunities for their undergraduate and graduate nursing students.

“Our healthcare system is in a state of flux with many opinions as to how we should deliver care to all people in our country,” said Molly Fitzke, professor and director of NWU’s nursing programs.

Among the teaching moments was an opportunity to lead the program on its first study abroad trip to London.

Senior Tests Spanish Skills Through Study Abroad in Mexico

When Randi Knox graduated from Bellevue East High School, she had a hunch that her college experience would likely include studying abroad.

She holds a special curiosity for the world around her and has an intense desire to make an impact.

Shortly after stepping foot on campus, the modern language and political science double major joined Global Service Learning, the country’s first student-led global service learning group.
