Nebraska Wesleyan University professor Mark Stutz has been selected to receive an Athletic Trainer Service Award from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
The national award recognizes NATA members who have demonstrated a strong commitment to their local and state associations.
Stutz is an assistant professor of health and human performance and director of athletic training at Nebraska Wesleyan, where he has taught for three years. He has extensive leadership and involvement experience with the Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association. He also serves as site visitor and chair of the site visit teams for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, and has been a certified athletic trainer for 22 years.
Stutz will be recognized with the award during NATA’s annual convention in Indianapolis this June.
On Friday, April 4, Stutz will be honored with the Mid America Athletic Trainers' Association Service Award. This honor recognizes members for their distinctive contributions to the athletic training profession at the local, state, and district levels.
