Virtual International Programs

Virtual International Programs can be a great way for students to gain international experience without leaving their home university. Students can choose from three options:

  • take one or more classes for credit
  • complete an internship
  • participate in service learning

Virtual International Program Providers

ISEP - ISEP’s diverse and flexible virtual program offerings provide unique credit-bearing cultural opportunities to study with a global university. Choose between short winter-term options, take one course next semester or dive into a full semester of courses with opportunities for internships and service learning as well. Many programs have opportunities for immersive language learning, but there are also a wide range of courses available in subjects for all majors. ISEP also offers remote internships from 10-40 hours a week for professional experience working for companies around the globe.

Go Abroad and Diversity Abroad - With so many other options available for virtual international experiences, Go Abroad and Diversity Abroad search engines can help find the perfect virtual program for you. These search engines allow you to explore study abroad programs, internships, and service-learning opportunities offered by other providers and institutions across the globe.

Cost and Financial Aid

Cost and financial aid of virtual international programs will vary by the provider and program type and length. You are encouraged to visit the program or provider’s website for more detailed information about the cost of your program.
