Excellent theatre facilities make it possible for Nebraska Wesleyan University to offer a diverse selection of opportunities for students to perform and learn.

McDonald Theatre

McDonald Theatre in the Elder Memorial Theatre Center is home to NWU Theatre’s main stage performances. The newly renovated McDonald Theatre includes wider, more comfortable seats and a suspended stage to better accommodate more intricate transitions of actors, scenery and props. This large venue gives students the opportunity not only to act, but also to perfect skills in sound and lighting design. Students build sets for main stage performances immediately behind the McDonald stage.
