Nebraska Wesleyan University’s music students will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s last opera, “The Magic Flute”.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 1 at 3 p.m. in O’Donnell Auditorium, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. Tickets will be available at the door. The production is free for NWU employees and students.

In “The Magic Flute,” young Prince Tamino must learn to tell good from evil with the help of his bird-brained sidekick Papageno before he can rescue the lovely Pamina and restore light to the world. The production combines elements of magic, adventure, comedy and drama to deliver the life-affirming message that love conquers all.

“The Magic Flute” is being directed by Dawn Pawlewski-Krogh.
