But Max Pearson’s unique combination of interests, and some help from committed mentors at Nebraska Wesleyan University, led him to an unexpected career opportunity.

What’s “schicksal”? Well, it’s German for “fate”. 

Nebraska Wesleyan University built on its strong record with Theta Chi fraternity’s most prestigious honor this month, as Jakob Cadwallader (’26) was named second runner-up for Theta Chi’s Colley Award.

Professors Karla and Travis Jensen can take a gardener’s share of credit for tending the growth of learning opportunities for Nebraska Wesleyan University students over many years.
