Now is the right time for students to take advantage of the exciting things happening at the Hub.

The Hub, located on the first floor of Cochrane-Woods Library, is where students can find academic assistance and personalized support. Whether your student is looking for tutoring, academic coaching, advising, disability assistance and accommodations, research help, accessible materials, or library reference support, the Hub brings these services together to make students’ academic journeys smoother and more connected.

Here’s what’s new at the Hub this spring.

  • Updated computer labs now feature three new big screens for enhanced presentations.
  • A new projector and additional screen combine with technology updates to make workshops more accessible.
  • More comprehensive disability supports are geared for students who experience injuries, illnesses or surgeries.
  • New supplemental Cooper Center programming serves students in computer science.
  • Additional resources give students more assistance in locating accessible documents.
  • Targeted support from the Office of Academic Advising is geared for students experiencing academic difficulties.

Also, our popular Friday afternoon “Hub Happenings” events continue this semester. This series offers students a fun way to de-stress going into the weekends with easy access to walk-in academic support.

Students can find more information on Hub Happenings on NWU Engage and print and digital media across campus.
