As we look ahead to spring, this is a great time for a quick student check-in. Housing selection and fall course registration are coming up soon, and a smooth experience starts with confirming that there are no active holds on your student’s account.

Holds can happen for a variety of routine reasons, including health documentation, registrar requirements, or a student account balance. In most cases, these issues are easy to resolve once identified. We encourage families to remind their students to log in to Self-Service and review their account now so they’re fully prepared as important next steps open.

Taking a moment to check today can prevent last-minute surprises later, which helps to keep your student moving forward with confidence. If a hold does appear, campus offices are ready to support students and help resolve it quickly.
