Capitol Hill Internship Program

Internships give you the opportunity to learn by experience and prove yourself in a professional setting.

The Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP) connects NWU students to an array of exciting Washington, D.C., internships in and out of government.

CHIP students:

  • live on Capitol Hill in apartments very close to most internship sites;
  • work in government and non-government offices through programs only found in Washington, D.C.; and
  • take classes and seminars to make the most of their internship experiences.

To apply for the program, complete the CHIP Application and submit via email to Zachary Baumann at zbaumann [at] nebrwesleyan.edu (zbaumann[at]nebrwesleyan[dot]edu). Application deadlines are October 1 for fall semester, March 15 for spring semester. The application includes a nonrefundable $250 housing deposit.

See more information about the CHIP program on their website.
