When the copies are finished, the Copy Center personnel will input the number of impressions made. One impression is one side of paper, so a double-sided copy is two impressions. (A 17-inch sheet counts as 2 impressions per side.) The yellow carbon is returned to the department with the finished copies. The finished product is placed on a shelf in the Copy Center. Department workers pick up copies at the Copy Center. Currently the cost of one impression is four cents ($.04) for a black and white copy and eight cents ($.08) for a color copy no matter what paper is used.
Your department may get reams or cases or handfuls of white or colored paper as needed from the Copy Center. A supply request form is needed for reams or cases of paper. Please complete the form with Department Name and General Supply Account number and the amount of paper being taken. At month’s end, the Business Office will tally the supply forms for the budget.
All types of paper are available in white. Assorted types, color and sizes of paper are available. A chart is posted on the wall of the Copy Center that shows the colors available. Please check with the Copy Center if you are needing something different.
These are located on the wall right inside the Mail/Copy Center door and are of no cost to your department. However, if your department is going to need a large quantity of supplies, please notify the Copy/Mail Center in advance.
