Administrative Council

The Administrative Council is Nebraska Wesleyan University’s executive team, comprised of the President, Provost, Vice Presidents, Chief of Staff and University Minister. Its major responsibilities include leadership of institutional strategy implementation; development and monitoring of the annual budget; staffing of Board of Governors meetings; care for the well-being of students, faculty, and staff; and stewardship of the physical plant and other institutional resources.

In its regular weekly meetings, the Administrative Council sets aside time for the Provost and Vice Presidents to report on measurable progress toward fulfillment of revenue, expense, and programmatic goals. Working with these measures—many quantitative, some qualitative—is an essential element of teamwork within the senior leadership group.
