A retired French professor and his wife will be recognized for their dedication and support of NWU theatre during the opening weekend of the production Hay Fever.

Professor emeritus Tony Epp and his wife, Dianne, will be formally recognized on Saturday, April 10 during the 7:30 p.m. show. The couple will be introduced just prior to the start of the play. A short 15-minute reception will be held during intermission with a longer reception following the show. The cast of Rent will also perform a special song for the Epps. Those attending Saturday's performance are invited to sign a guest book for the couple.

Epp retired in 2005 after 34 years of teaching French at Nebraska Wesleyan. Tony and Dianne will move to Kansas later this spring.

Jack Parkhurst, Professor of Theatre Arts, said the couple have been long-time supporters of the theatre program.

The comedy, Hay Fever, kicks off Thursday, April 8 and continues for two consecutive weekends. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 465.2384.
