A Nebraska Wesleyan University junior elementary education major is the 2011 recipient of the Nebraska Student Education Association Retired Teachers Scholarship.

Kelli Raile of Grand Island received the scholarship during the Student Education Association Delegate Assembly in April.

The scholarship is presented each year to a college junior or senior and member of the Student Education Association who plans to student teach during the next academic year.

Raile is the chair of Nebraska Wesleyan's Student Education Association. She also serves as chair for the Dream House theme house, is a member of the Wesleyan Student Alumni Association, a junior class representative, and is an ambassador for the Admissions Office. She will student teach next year.
