New Student Registration Parent Schedule

New Student Registration is an important opportunity for parents of new students.

While your student is learning about academic success, student involvement and finalizing their class schedule, parents will attend a variety of presentations about residential education, student health, career and counseling services, financial information, student involvement and academic resiliency.

Staff from the Admissions Office, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Business Office, Student Life Office, Residential Education Office and many others will also be available all day to answer your questions.

The NSR parent schedule includes:

  • 9:15-10 a.m. — Check-in, Great Hall, Smith-Curtis Administration Building
  • 10 a.m. – Welcome

  • 10:20 a.m. – Residential Education & Commuter Services

  • 11 a.m. – Break

  • 11:10 a.m. – Student Health

  • 11:40 a.m. – Counseling Services

  • 11:50 a.m. – Career Center

  • 12:20 p.m. – Lunch (provided)

  • 1:30 p.m. – Financial Aid & Payment Plans

  • 2 p.m. – Academic Resiliency & Success Resources

  • 2:30 p.m. – Importance of Involvement

  • 3 p.m. – Athletics (for parents of student athletes)

Parent sessions will be held in McDonald Theatre.
