Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Elder Gallery opens a new exhibit October 10, “Impact Best: Nebraska Impact Artists.”

Impact’s thematic shows have inspired artists to creative inventions, but in the privacy of their studios, they have throughout their careers, pursued a private vision. For Impact Best, there are no rules and no limits — each distinguished artist offers his or her signature work. This particular exhibit features Nebraska artists who have been nationally recognized within their respective artistic disciplines.

The show runs October 10 through November 15 with a reception on Friday, November 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Elder Gallery is located inside the Rogers Center for Fine Arts, 50th Street and Huntington Ave. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
