Nebraska Wesleyan University Theatre presents more than 40 productions each year, giving students opportunities to act, sing, direct, design and work in many genres. NWU houses three major stages and the region’s largest costume and prop libraries.
The Symphonic Band is a distinguished concert ensemble performing works in a variety of musical styles, from traditional band repertoire to contemporary music.
The Jazz Ensemble gives students the opportunity to learn and gain technique in jazz, Latin, rock, and other fun styles of music, performing several concerts each year.
The Wolves of Wesleyan Ensemble provides musical entertainment at various Nebraska Wesleyan University events and activities on and off campus. The music played in the WOW Ensemble includes examples from swing, pop, jazz, classic rock and roll, and other appropriate genres.
The University Choir is a large mixed-voice premiere choral ensemble. They perform concerts at home and on annual tours, and are regularly featured at state and regional conferences.
Gold Standard Singers is an auditioned a cappella ensemble that sings primarily vocal jazz, pop, and musical theatre repertoire. The ensemble performs in on-campus concerts, community gigs, and tours annually.
Fully staged and costumed operas, with orchestra, are performed every spring. Select Opera Scenes are performed every fall.
