NWU’s Annual Huntington Thanksgiving Drive

Hello NWU Community!

With November comes Thanksgiving and our annual drive to support families at our neighboring Huntington Elementary School!

To best meet the needs of every family, we will once again provide $50 grocery gift certificates. This allows families to choose food that fits their preferences, traditions, and circumstances. Some families struggle to provide the additional meals that come with school breaks, while others may not have adequate housing or cooking facilities to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal. A grocery gift certificate offers flexibility and dignity while helping meet a variety of needs.

Our goal this year is to provide a $50 gift certificate to 75 families. The Huntington administration, counselors, and families are deeply appreciative of the generosity and support shown by the Nebraska Wesleyan community year after year.

Please join us in this decades-long Nebraska Wesleyan tradition of being active neighbors and good stewards to those living in the University Place community. Every donation, large or small, makes a meaningful difference.

Thank you for your consideration and support!
