Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Touch of Class Jazz Choir will perform four concerts during its spring tour to Iowa.

Touch of Class is a select choir of 16 members that focuses on jazz repertoire. They will perform jazz standards such as “Unforgettable,” “Come Fly with Me,” Fascinating Rhythm,” and “All the Things You Are.”  Sacred music will also be performed including Will Todd’s “Jazz Missa Brevis,” von Kampen’s “Benediction” and Touch of Class director Boyd Bacon’s arrangement of “Amen!”

The group is accompanied by piano and bass with the singers playing assorted percussion instruments. Touch of Class Jazz Choir is under the direction of Boyd Bacon.

The concert schedule includes:

Wednesday, March 7 — 6:30 p.m., St. John’s United Methodist Church, 109 E 14th Street, Davenport, Iowa, free-will donation.

Thursday, March 8 — 7 p.m., St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2675 E. Washington St, Iowa City, Iowa, free-will donation.

Friday, March 9  — 7 p.m., Wilson Performing Arts Center, 300 Commerce Drive, Red Oak, Iowa, free-will donation.

Saturday, March 10 — 7 p.m., Broadway United Methodist Church, 11 S 1st Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa
