NWU closed Tuesday, January 9, due to inclement weather

Due to inclement weather, NWU will be closed today, January 8. Blowing and driving snow, additional accumulation and slick road conditions are expected through the morning.

In-person classes are cancelled and will NOT move to a remote modality. All online classes, regardless of program, will take place as scheduled. 

Employees are encouraged to work remotely if you have a NWU laptop or home computer. If you have questions, please contact your supervisor directly. Maintenance employees will be contacted by their lead supervisor who will provide work details and shift information. 

 Some student services will continue to operate.  They include: Sodexo Dining – normal hours,  Weary Center open recreation - 12pm-6pm (athletic practices may occur during open recreation time), library services - Noon to 3pm.

If you are on campus, please use extreme caution when using the campus sidewalks and parking lots.

A parking ban remains in effect, which means parking is not allowed on the even-numbered side of the street.  If you haven’t moved your vehicle, please do to allow for LTU to plow streets.
