The Board of Directors of the William Randolph Hearst Foundation has awarded Nebraska Wesleyan University a grant of $100,000.

The funds will be added to the existing William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund at NWU, bringing the contributions to the Hearst Fund to $300,000.

The contribution will benefit two or three more high achieving students who demonstrate financial need.

The existing Hearst Endowed Fund provides six scholarships per year. The $100,000 increase will result in eight or nine students per year who will be able to pursue an education at Nebraska Wesleyan University with less financial burden.
