Elder Gallery Exhibit: Shelter In Place
Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Location: Elder Gallery

Elder Gallery reopens with its first exhibition of the new academic year, "Shelter in Place: Art and Objects from the Nebraska Wesleyan Art Department Bubble."

The show includes art and objects from the collection of the Art Department faculty and staff and new gifts to the NWU Permanent Teaching Collection.

Over the past months, the homes of the art faculty have transformed into work places, summer retreats and gallery spaces. The things they live with have taken on new meaning. The artwork in their homes have been closely examined and beheld anew. Like a potluck after a long time apart, the Art Department has something to share.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gallery capacity is limited to 10 visitors at a time.

Theatre Production: A Doll's House 2
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Miller Theatre

Our first indoor production since March, and what better way to welcome you back than with a family drama about returning home!

This 2017 play by Lucas Hnath picks up where Henrik Ibsen's 1879 play, A Doll's House, concludes. The play begins with a knock on the door — the same door that was slammed shut 15 years earlier when Nora excited Ibsen's play. Nora has returned. After leaving her husband, children and the nursemaid, she has become a successful feminist novelist who is back to finalize her divorce.

Due to COVID-19, seating is very limited and masks are required. Reserve your tickets.
