Siena is a third-year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Prior to attending UNL, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sport Management from the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. Siena’s clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, identity development, and sport psychology. She particularly enjoys working with student-athletes and individuals from marginalized backgrounds. Siena primarily practices from a person-centered approach and incorporates cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and feminist therapy approaches into her clinical work. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and watching sports.
