Background: 

I practiced law from1973 to 1993 when I was appointed to the Separate Juvenile Court of Lancaster County. I retired from the bench in May of 2006 and have taught at NWU and at UNL as an adjunct since 2006. At NWU I teach Business Law I and II, at UNL I teach in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, teaching various courses on juvenile justice.

Juris Doctorate from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University Law School) 1973

Teaching philosophy: 

I enjoy the interaction with students and thus prefer courses that are small and have interaction between the students and the professor.
