Background: 

Paxton Molinari begins his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Molinari will be in charge of recruiting for the Prairie Wolves as well as practice and in-game management.

Molinari comes to NWU from Luther College where he was a student assistant coach the past three seasons. Working under former Nebraska Wesleyan head coach and two-time IIAC Coach-of-the-Year Mark Franzen, Molinari was part of two IIAC championship teams in 2010-11 and 2012-13. The 2010-11 team also advanced to the second round of the NCAA III Tournament. He managed film exchange, assisted with scouting reports, was an active recruiter, and was responsible for the Norse JV program.

Molinari has served as camp clinician at Snow Valley Basketball School as well as several NCAA Division I institutions. He was also a part of the Support Staff for the USA Basketball U16, U17 and U18 Junior National Teams during their training camps in Colorado Springs, CO.

He graduated from Luther College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Psychology.
