In addition to her duties as assistant athletic director and senior woman administrator for the athletic department, Jo Bunstock has taken an active role in a variety of committee work across campus. She currently is NWU’s chair for the Ventures In Partnership program with Huntington Elementary School coordinating program events annually for their students. Jo is also a campus resource person for personal harassment, and was a recent advisor for one of the campus residential living theme houses.
Other involvement has included serving on the Commission on Women’s Issues which later became the Task Force on Women’s Issues, participating in diversity training for the Task Force on Ethnic and Racial Diversity, the President's Council for Cultural Diversity, and being selected by the campus to serve on the search committee for Nebraska Wesleyan’s 16th president. Jo also coordinated the campus picnic that celebrated Dr. Ohles’ inauguration to that position on October 5, 2007. She has served as a facilitator for the NCAA’s Division III Student-Athlete Regional Leadership Conferences.
Jo is a 1997 graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University where she graduated with distinction and was selected to Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges in 1995.
