Education: 

B.S. from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Sociology and Antropology. Also studied Elementary Education and Broadcast media at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Research and academic interests: 

Research in the area of adult student education. Thesis topic was Adult women returning to college to seek or complete a college degree.

Service interests: 

Currently working as volunteer with Lincoln Public School's Backpack program. Food items from the Lincoln Food Bank are filled in Backpacks and given to grade school children to take home on Fridays in hope this helps with food needs for the weekend.

Have also been a volunteer in Assisted Living/Retirement homes.

Member of the Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society and member of Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society.
