My work as Associate Provost focuses on developing our Archway Curriculum so that all our students engage in high-impact practices, such as internships, collaborative projects, study away, and e-portfolio, that integrate and apply their learning, creating self-sustaining learners. We intend Nebraska Wesleyan students to complete their program of learning knowing how they have developed, what they have accomplished, where they want to go with their life.

Research and academic interests

My main area of speciality is Germany in the era of the Reformation. My research currently focuses on the image of Martin Luther in the Nazi era. My curricular development work focuses on developing e-Portfolio practice to integrate student learning, and project-based learning to engage students in collaboration, research, and the application of knowledge to solve significant problems.

I am active in adult education and social ministry through my church.
