Your student’s Nebraska Wesleyan experience starts soon, and we want to ensure a smooth transition. That means completing this list of ‘to-dos’ before the start of the semester. Please encourage your student to take care of these things by August 16.

Block schedules for Prairie Wolves Welcome.

All new students are required to attend events August 16–20. Do not schedule work, appointments or other obligations on those dates.

Check email.

We send university updates, Prairie Wolves Welcome details and information from professors to your student’s NWU email address.

Order books.

Encourage your student to log into Self Service to access their fall schedule. Each course includes a “Bookstore Information” link, which lists the materials they’ll need.

Check finances.

Your student can log into Self Service to view tuition statements and make sure that financial aid and scholarships have all been applied to their account.

Submit final transcripts.

Students must send official transcripts to the Registrar’s Office. If they’re still finishing up some high school coursework, make sure they request that final transcripts be sent to NWU.

Return immunization and medical history forms.

These forms are necessary for Student Health to serve your student.

Fill out parking permit form.

If your student intends to park a vehicle on campus, they’ll need to complete the parking tag request form.

Complete the Year-one College Behavior Profile.

We mailed a postcard with this information in July. If your student needs additional assistance, please have them contact Kevin Bollinger at kbolling [at] nebrwesleyan.edu (kbolling[at]nebrwesleyan[dot]edu).

If you have any questions about this list, please contact us at the Admissions Office: (402) 465-2218, admissions [at] nebrweseyan.edu (admissions[at]nebrweseyan[dot]edu). We’re here to help.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus soon!
