“What are you going into?”

It’s a question college students get again and again. While some have eager answers, many more won’t have everything figured out just yet. And that’s perfectly fine—even advantageous. College is about exploring possibilities.

Becoming engaged on campus is a great way to expand on current passions, discover new interests and enter fulfilling communities. NWU’s 70+ student organizations include academic honoraries, social justice clubs, faith-based groups, international exchanges, wilderness clubs, multimedia gamers, intramural sports teams, academic interest groups and more. We also welcome proposals for new organizations.

Nebraska Wesleyan’s Greek life is geared toward community, engagement and scholastic excellence. There are three sororities and three fraternities at NWU, each with unique values and traditions. Our Greek families support students’ academic and professional development as well as their social engagement.

Speaking of social engagement, Wesleyan Entertainment Board (WEB) hosts weekly events, ranging from glo-paint dance parties and live concerts to cook-offs, talent shows, and game tournaments.

To help your student make the most of their campus experience, encourage them to attend NWU’s Involvement Fair on August 30, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. on Abel Commons. That’s where they can get an up-close look at everything this amazing campus community has to offer.
