Stay Informed This School Year

Keeping our students well informed is an important component to their success at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
The university sends all official communication to students’ NWU email address. We expect students to check email frequently to stay current with university-related communications, recognizing that certain communication may be time-critical.
In the event of a campus emergency when students need to be contacted immediately, we use a text message notification called the Wesleyan Alert System. Students will verify their cell phone numbers with the university in August to make certain we have the correct contact information on file. The Wesleyan Alert System is tested early in the academic year to ensure all students receive these urgent messages. The Wesleyan Alert System is used for emergencies only.
Finally, students and their families should continue to follow the university’s pandemic updates on the COVID-19 webpage. The university closely monitors and follows all CDC, state and local directed health measures and makes necessary adjustments. The COVID-19 webpage includes important information including fall semester plans and policies, the latest updates, campus resources and messages from President Darrin Good. Any updates regarding the fall semester will be communicated directly to students via email and will be shared on the COVID-19 webpage.
