‘Tis almost the season for students to visit home for the holidays! Here’s what you need to know as we head into winter break.

Residence halls and suites close at 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 14. Your student will receive a winter break checklist in early December detailing steps to take prior to leaving campus, such as taking out the trash and defrosting mini fridges.

Those who wish to remain in the residence halls or suites during winter break can notify the Residential Education Office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12. There is a $35/night fee for these students. (This fee is waived for students who remain on campus due to their involvement in a university-sanctioned event.) Students residing in our townhouses and apartments may stay over break at no additional charge.

We welcome back returning students beginning at noon on Sunday, January 7.

Happy holidays!
