SECURITY ALERT: Phishing scam

CSIT has received reports of a phishing scam reaching NWU Inboxes. The message, while not particularly convincing, is sufficiently wide spread to warrant an alert.
The scam message appears to originate from an NWU account and has the subject line "Your application required." The body of the message consists of the promotion of an employment opportunity promising significant reward for minimal effort. The message does not itself include any embedded links, but does have an attached PDF file which includes a link purporting to be to an application to become a secret shopper.
Should you receive such an email message, please delete it immediately. Thank you,
